About

Nanditha Menon has over a decade of experience in the development sector in India, working extensively on issues related to livelihoods, education, gender equality, and community development.

Nanditha has managed large-scale programs in rural and urban areas, working with state governments and nonprofit organizations. She has experience designing and implementing skills training initiatives, conducting policy research, and evaluating social welfare schemes across multiple states in India.

Prior to her graduate studies, Nanditha specialized in women’s economic empowerment through entrepreneurship promotion and self-help group models. She also has expertise in community mobilization, program strategy, and fundraising. Beyond development, Nanditha is passionate about the arts, having trained in classical Indian dance and music from a young age.

Initial Fellowship Focus: The fellow will help to facilitate departmental conversations on CAP action steps, identify opportunities for cross-departmental and regional collaboration on the city’s resilience goals, and contribute to a framework for further collaboration beyond the Resilient Lincoln initiative.
