About

Julia Duro is a researcher committed to data-driven urban policy and design. Working at the intersection of data and urban planning, she explores how evidence and open tools can empower civic engagement and expand community agency. Her interests include daily mobility, labor geographies, and local economic development.

Julia is pursuing a Master in Urban Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, specializing in urban analytics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Sciences Po Paris. Before starting her master’s, she worked as a researcher at the University of Granada, developing urban indicators and mobility measures. Originally from Spain, she enjoys photography, badminton, and backpacking around the world.
