Bailey Siber

Bailey Siber recently completed a Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School with a concentration in social and urban policy. Bailey’s areas of study largely focused on the intersection of economic mobility, civic innovation, and racial justice in the context of state and local governments. Her thesis, in partnership with the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency, provided recommendations for the equitable distribution of a $50 million pilot fund to dislocated workers amidst California’s energy transition.

Bailey recently served as a Rappaport Fellow for the city of Boston’s civic innovation and design team. Prior to graduate school, Bailey worked as a technologist at several rapid scale startups in the Bay Area and in Boston. Additionally, she helped to launch a Boston-based nonprofit, G{Code}, that expands access to economic mobility for women and nonbinary people of color by offering onramps into tech careers. Bailey serves as an advisor for G{Code}, which now works with hundreds of fellows each year.

Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science from Tufts University in community health and psychology, with a concentration in computer science.
