Navid believes cities are best positioned to drive transformative change because of their connections with people. Far from his roots in Los Angeles, Navid is pursuing a Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School to envision governing systems that champion transparency and justice. Navid learned the value of solidarity and collaboration during his first community engagement initiatives in the California Bay Area and has since applied these to public service in New York City, Raleigh, and Chicago. Through his engagement work at the Bloomberg City Leadership Initiative, Navid connects with elected officials across the country over a shared vision for excellence in local leadership.
