James Bedford is a second-year Master in Business Administration student at the Harvard Business School. His work focuses on the intersection of education and social mobility, with a particular focus on organizational change in social purpose-oriented team contexts. Prior to starting his master’s degree, James was a Schwarzman Scholar, a social impact consultant at Boston Consulting Group, and developed programming for first-generation college and low-income students at multiple foundations and nonprofits.
James holds a Master of Science in global affairs from Tsinghua University, where he focused on Chinese ethnic minority villages and urban design. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in stem cell biology from Harvard College.
